This scheme involves all civil works associated with Lanes for Drains Cured in Place and Structural Re-lining framework with Scottish Water Solutions.
These works include the following:
- Construction of new manholes ranging from 900mm to 1800mm diameter to depths of 5m
- Renovation of existing manholes by replacing frames and covers, increasing access to chambers, renewing benching and replacing step irons
- Repairs to existing sewers by localised excavations
- Replacing lengths of existing sewers by open-cut techniques to depths of 5m and ranging in diameter from 150mm to 600mm in various ground conditions
- Setting up overpumping for sewer lining works
- Setting up and maintaining traffic management
