Oh Yes It Is - Clancy Group employees Rally and Stage Panto To Aid Hospice Charity

From Junior Administrator to Chief Operating Officer, Harefield, Herts based staff from one of the country’s leading utilities contractors - Clancy Docwra, have been rehearsing for weeks for ‘Cinderella at the Circus Ball’. Three evening performances next week at the nearby Harefield Academy theatre aim to raise much-needed funds for a local Hospice Care charity.

The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home charity provides specialist and supportive care and advice for patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses in their homes. With centres in Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire the charity offers a 365 days a year service and offers patients and carers access to specialist advice and nursing visits on a 24 hour on-call basis.

A night has been dedicated to the local community with three local schools, Harefield infants, Harefield Junior and St Mary’s RC primary school being invited to engage in the pantomime and hopefully provide great fun for the parents and pupils.

“The panto has seen an overwhelming response to ‘get involved’ from all our people right up to senior executive level, and the amount of hidden talent with several stars being born and the generosity we have uncovered from both our staff and supply chain in order to pull this production off has been truly inspiring” said Mark Sewell, Clancy Docwra’s Communications Manager.

The performances are on Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd starting at 7.00pm at The Harefield Academy, Northwood Way, Uxbridge UB9 6ET. Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale.
