What we do

The energy market is a key strategic business sector for Clancy. As with all areas of the business, we provide a competent workforce that operates in both CAPEX and OPEX workstreams. We offer a wide range of services and deliver successful framework contracts for regulated network operators and also undertake electricity asset contracts for a number of commercial clients.

Cable installation and jointing up to 132,000 volts

We are NERS accredited to deliver projects up to 132,000 volts and are trusted to work on highly complex projects by the main Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).

Primary substation design and build

We provide substation construct and maintenance services, with significant experience handling major substation and switchgear works.

Tunnel design and construct

We have the experience and all the accreditations to provide extensive underground and tunnelling services.

Electrical installation and commissioning

Installation and commissioning is a key service for our clients. Our experience and expertise allow us to offer integrated solutions that deliver excellent results.

Civil Works and M&E Designs

Being at the heart of our business, we offer full design and Civil Engineering services that provide innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Energy Technical Training Centre

We have created our very own Energy Technical Training Centre in Dartford, to address the growing skills shortage. The centre has been purpose built and contains various workstations, enabling trainees to experience typical working scenarios. Courses range from Jointers Mate and Electrical Jointers, through to Voltage Systems and Site Manager. We also provide non-electrical courses such as Site Safety Training and First Aid through to Safe Excavation of Buried Cables and Working in Confined Spaces.
