Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54, Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that The Clancy Group plc, its subsidiaries and/or associated companies has taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within its business or any part of its supply chain.  This includes implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls in order to detect and/or prevent modern slavery.

Our Business

The Clancy Group Plc, its subsidiaries and/or associated companies are a national utility and construction group of companies – employing over 2,500 employees operating across the Infrastructure Civils, Energy, Multi Utility, Rail, Renewables, Water and Plant provision sectors.


The Clancy Group Plc, its subsidiaries and/or associated companies check that all of its employees both direct and indirect have the right to work in the UK.


To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery in our business we have provided specific awareness training to several areas of the organisation which includes our Human Resources Department and Procurement Department on effective procurement processes.


We operate the following policies that assist our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and identify steps to be taken to prevent slavery in our business:-

Whistleblowing Policy – We encourage all our employees to report any concerns relating to unlawful conduct malpractice, dangers to the public or the environment, and any other matter of a serious nature.

This Policy Statement will be reviewed and published annually.
