In the recent AMP period, we secured a £700m water order book. The work that we won and retained includes term contracts of up to five years and major frameworks. This work is representative of ten of the countries 22 water companies, who provide over 50% of the UK population.
Water related works have been at the centre of the business from the beginning of the company in 1958. We have enjoyed significant nationwide success in this sector, and have forged strong working relationships with key clients – successfully delivering many clean water and wastewater contracts whilst also providing solutions to our clients’ needs, from individual projects through to delivering regulatory output-driven services.
Clancy Docwra has considerable experience in different types of delivery models, which includes both CAPEX and OPEX. These include; Frameworks, joint ventures, one-off contracts, partnering and term contracting.
Our joint venture with Kier Group (KCD) forms part of the Alliance to deliver a billion pounds worth of work for Thames Water – the largest contract in water sector history.
We are also currently operational in framework and term contracts with Sutton and East Surrey, Southern Water, South East Water, Anglian Water and Scottish Water.

Delivering for our clients
We’re different. We are not quite as big as some of our competitors, but we’re a significant national player. That’s because we are agile and quick to react – combining the scale and professionalism of a large company with the speed, responsiveness and personal touch of a family owned and run business.
It’s a powerful mix, and one that our clients truly value. They know they can trust us to give them the best possible quality of service, while treating their challenges as our own. They expect us to deliver for them and we do exactly that – always in the right way, governed by our values of integrity, stability, standards and client satisfaction.
