What we do
Every day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations!
Our purpose at Clancy is simple – we make life better for everyone’s growing families. We are one of the biggest family owned construction businesses in the UK, and we care about our people, our clients and the environment.
We put health, safety and wellbeing above everything else. Working on behalf of communities, not just clients – making sure that our impact is positive and with minimal disruption, playing our part in tackling global challenges to protect our world, striving to reduce the impact of our work, and helping our partners to do the same.Find out more
We want you to reach your full potential and to achieve your career goals.
We are all about growing and developing our own talent, which is evidenced by a significant number of our senior managers who started at grass roots.
We take pride in supporting our employees at every stage of their development, whether that's via 'on the job' learning, pre-defined or bespoke training programmes, or achieving a professional qualification / membership.
In addition to helping you reach your career goals and a competitive salary, we provide a full suite of benefits, to say thank you and to show that we care.
Supporting your health, wealth and well-being, we offer enhanced holiday entitlement plus a voluntary annual leave purchase scheme, pension, life assurance, enhanced maternity pay, 1000s’ discounts for well-known retailers, an agile working policy, an employee assistance programme for you and your family plus more.
We are a family-owned business and always intend to be – working alongside and looking out for each other as a family would. The Clancy family is growing, but so are the families of our employees, our clients, their customers and partners.
Modern families can also be very different from the traditional stereotype. Our goal is not higher revenues, but profit that we can re-invest in the business for the long-term, to support families in all shapes and sizes.

We love to recognise colleagues, in categories such as Motivator of the Year, Safety Champion & Rising Star etc. We start with local events, then the regional winners are invited to our ‘winners of winners’ ceremony. It’s an event full of positivity and truly shows the heart and soul of our family business.
