Our people and communities
What we do
At Clancy, we are proud of our diverse and inclusive workforce and recognise the advantages that this brings for our clients and the wider communities we work in. That’s why we recruit, train and monitor social values, to give our people every opportunity to help them make a difference to their lives, their families and their communities.
National TOMs
To measure and monitor social value in a robust, consistent and transparent manner Clancy uses the Social Value Portal, an intuitive tool which makes it easy to prove the good we do. Using the National TOMs as a base, we have tailored our own social value: Themes, Outcomes and Measures, to apply to ourselves, our customers and communities. This allows us to target the priorities that matter most, at a local, regional and national level.
Diversity & inclusion in everything
Diversity is reflected throughout our workforce, providing a valuable range of experience and perspectives. It enables us to offer the best service for our clients and the communities we serve. We even have a diversity and inclusion council, ensuring that we are equitable in our recruitment process and in the opportunities given to our employees.
The Armed Forces Covenant
The Covenant is a promise to the nation, ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces and their families are treated fairly. We proudly signed the Covenant in 2019 and in 2021 were awarded Silver Status, in recognition of our efforts to support our armed forces colleagues.
Skills education and employment
The industry is fast becoming resource and skills constrained, so it is vital that we work collaboratively with industry organizations and government to identify strategic needs. This makes our people a valuable asset and we want to hold on to them and help them get the most out of their career with Clancy.
Resourcing, the Clancy way
To help us recruit, we have launched our Hiring Manager Toolkit. It includes an overview of the process, possible interview questions and a template that will help with evaluating a candidate’s suitability. The microsite will simplify our recruitment process and encourage application and non-discriminatory interview processes in order to welcome the broadest possible talent pool.
