EnergyWe’re proud to announce that Clancy has been appointed as Design and Build partner for the Old Abbey 132kV Substation as part of the Sizewell C nuclear power station project. This contract is a hugely important milestone, ensuring seamless energy supply to power the vital construction work on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.
Our scope includes:
- Design & Assurance of the 132kV/11kV Old Abbey Substation and 132kV cabling from National Grid’s Leiston Substation.
- Seamless integration with National Grid and the Sizewell C design teams.
- Procurement & delivery of major components, from manufacturing to site installation and testing.
As an accredited Independent Connections Provider (ICP) in the Energy Sector. This contract underlines Clancy’s expertise in delivering major power infrastructure and our commitment to supporting the UK’s transition to cleaner, sustainable energy.
