After working with Scottish Power since August 2012, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a new four- year contract to deliver all reactive works – faults and planned works of up to 33kV, for commercial and residential properties.

Exclusively responsible for Dumfries & Galloway, Central & Fife, Edinburgh & Borders areas, our new service level agreement contains of a number of important changes which will see response times cut to a maximum of two hours, for every single Scottish Power customer in our allocated regions.

Commenting on the contract extension, Director Colin Wilkinson said, “I am delighted that Clancy Docwra has been awarded this four-year deal with Scottish Power for the first part of the ED1 RIIO regulatory period. This contract takes us from today, the 16th November 2015, to 2019 – and is worth in the region of £50m for that period. We continue to evolve and improve the company’s offering in Scotland, to meet the needs of our clients and the markets, which we serve. Our stable base, allied to strengthened competencies and capabilities, allows us to look to the future with confidence.”

The new contract means that our Scottish Power team will be increasing its head count of both operational and administrative employees, to ensure that agreement levels are not only met, but exceeded – for the client and their customers. This investment will help ensure that our teams currently working for Scottish Power continue to deliver a safe and efficient service. The team’s performance is second to none and they have already completed two years without a single Lost Time Injury (LTI).

Jason Singleton, Utilities Operation Manager added, “Our Tool Box Talks are really important to us. They give us an opportunity to analyse near miss cards and then, together with our operational teams, put preventions in place. We truly believe that this process has prevented injuries and kept our 100% injury-free record intact. Huge congratulations must go to the teams for their attitude and commitment”
